Following the success of Roda de Bamba 1, the second edition of Roda de Bamba is set to return to Toronto on February 2-5, 2023!
RDB2 will be a 4-day event filled with workshops with guest instructors, Rodas, performances and Batizado (belt ceremony).

We take great care in inviting only professional and highly skilled guests to run our our workshops. We want each workshop to be more than just moves, but also a source of inspiration.
New Songs & Great Music
Add new music to your repertoire and bring new life to your Rodas. The music can help set the tone for the event and provide a lively and energetic atmosphere.
Cultural Education
Capoeira is a rich and cultural art form with a long history and traditions. A Roda de Bamba2 will provide opportunities for attendees to learn more about the history and culture of Capoeira through demonstrations, workshops, our theatrical play and other educational activities.

RDB2 provides opportunities for all attendees to participate in the art form, whether through demonstrations, workshops, or other interactive activities. This can help you feel more connected to Capoeira event and allow you to practice and improve your own skills even AFTER the event.
